Maidenwell is a small rural town in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia. At the 2011 Australian Census the town recorded a population of 458.

Pioneer settler John King dug the first well in the district, hence the name Maidenwell. Maidenwell Post Office opened in 1906 (a receiving office named Pinpinbugie had been open from 1900) and closed in 1978.

Maidenwell has a number of heritage-listed sites, including:

Coomba Falls is located about 2 kilometres east of the town. There is a deep cold pool at the base of the falls surrounded by granite cliffs. It is a popular tourist spot for picnicking, swimming, birdwatching and photography.
