Magic Lizard

Magic Lizard (Thai: กิ้งก่ากายสิทธิ์; rtgs: King-ka kay-a-sit; lit: Magic lizard) is a Thai comedy, fantasy, adventure, monster film directed and produced by Sompote Sands released in 1985.

Magic lizard is large lizard guarding the crystal under the base of the pagoda of the Temple of Dawn, and suddenly this crystal mane was stolen by Mars aliens. Magic lizard had to go to the aid of the giant guardian, while is have to run to various locations throughout Thailand such as Bridge on the River Kwai, The Death Railway or Phae Mueang Phi, and to escape the hunt of people who want it to remove is to the show. Magic lizard will have to adventure with things such as man-eating crocodile, wild elephants with tiger, mother and baby black bear, train runners, giant mosquitoes and skeleton ghost in the treasure cave.

Magic Lizrd is a film from the directed and produced by Sompote Sands who is involved in the design and ownership of Ultraman copyright. The concept story came from his nephew who had studied in Australia and brought a frilled lizard which is an endemic species comeback. Which he sees as cute, he was make as a main character.

But when it was released, it appears that the income is not good. Because at that time, video tapes have just been released and are gaining in popularity. So there are few movie audiences in the theater.

After this Sompote traveled to Japan to work about Ultra Series only.
