Lukachukai (Navajo: Lókʼaaʼchʼégai) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Apache County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,701 at the 2010 census.

Lukachukai, a Navajo word translated as "a field of white reeds", is located at 36°25′7″N 109°14′11″W / 36.41861°N 109.23639°W / 36.41861; -109.23639 (36.418478, -109.236487).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 22.0 square miles (57.0 km2), of which 22.0 square miles (56.9 km2) is land and 0.039 square miles (0.1 km2), or 0.15%, is water.

According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Lukachukai has a semi-arid climate, abbreviated "BSk" on climate maps.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1,565 people, 423 households, and 326 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 71.0 people per square mile (27.4/km²). There were 634 housing units at an average density of 28.8/sq mi (11.1/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.21% Native American, 1.15% White, 0.06% Asian, 0.26% from other races, and 0.32% from two or more races. 0.96% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
