Lovers, Friends and Strangers is the seventh studio album released by American country music singer, Barbara Mandrell, released in May 1977.

Mandrell's success was beginning to build with the release of this album. The lead-off single from the album, "Married, But Not to Each Other" was Mandrell's biggest hit yet on the Billboard Country charts, peaking at #3. The second single was not a Top 10 hit ("Hold Me"), but instead a Top 15 hit, coming close to the Top 10 at #12. The album peaked only at #26 on the Top Country Albums chart. The album included a cover version of "After the Lovin'", which exemplified the type of songs Mandrell was recording at the time. This track was also nominated for a Grammy the following year for Best Female Performance - Country. The album consisted of 10 tracks, instead of the 11 tracks like her previous album, Midnight Angel (1977).
