Los Beatles en Cuba: Un viaje mágico y misterioso

Los Beatles en Cuba: un viaje mágico y misterioso (English: The Beatles in Cuba: A Magical Mystery Tour) is a book compiled and co-authored by Cuban writer Ernesto Juan Castellanos. It collects all the proceedings of the First International Colloquium on the Significance of The Beatles' Work in Cuba, held in Havana from 15–17 October 1996.

The Beatles never visited Cuba, so the title is a reference to the presence of The Beatles as a social and cultural phenomenon in the Caribbean island, where they were banned in the 1960s and 1970s after government officials considered Beatlemania a bad example for the Cuban youth. Los Beatles en Cuba: un viaje mágico y misterioso was the first book about The Beatles ever published in Cuba. According to scholar Cameron Zywina, the book is an introduction “to the alleged, official prohibition of the Beatles' songs in Cuba between 1964 and 1966, a controversy that I believe remains unresolved at the end of the colloquium.”

The author has also written three other non-fiction books, El sargento Pimienta vino a Cuba en un submarino amarillo, La guerra se acaba –si tú quieres, and John Lennon en La Habana with a little help from my friends.
