Loomis is a village in Phelps County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 382 at the 2010 census.
Loomis was founded in 1885. It was named for N. H. Loomis, a railroad official.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.33 square miles (0.85 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 382 people, 155 households, and 111 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,157.6 inhabitants per square mile (447.0/km2). There were 170 housing units at an average density of 515.2 per square mile (198.9/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 96.6% White, 1.0% Native American, 0.3% Asian, 0.3% Pacific Islander, 0.5% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.9% of the population.
There were 155 households of which 33.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.8% were married couples living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.2% had a male householder with no wife present, and 28.4% were non-families. 24.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.46 and the average family size was 2.92.
