This is a list of the 31 administrative regions (in Portuguese: região administrativa) of the Federal District, Brazil.
The Constitution of Brazil divides the country into Federated states and these into municipalities, but explicitly forbids the Federal District to subdivide into municipalities. Besides that, in matters reserved for the municipalities, the Federal District is treated as a single municipality (Brasília, DF), and acts like one, as a city-state.
The Federal District is divided into administrative regions, according to law 4.545/64.
The administrative regions are governed by regional administrators, which has most tasks reserved for mayors in the states, except for matters exclusive to municipalities, which are handled by the governor itself.
