As of January 2017[update], there are forty-three former members of the U.S. House of Representatives from the U.S. State of Michigan who are currently living at this time. The most recent representative to die was Raymond F. Clevenger (1965-1967) on March 29, 2016. The most recently serving representative to die was William D. Ford (1965-1995) on August 14, 2004.
