This is a list of episodes in Pokémon: Master Quest, the fifth season of the Pokémon animated series (ポケットモンスター Poketto Monsutā?, Pocket Monsters), and the final season of the original series international dub; which covering the final adventures of the series protagonist Ash Ketchum and his friends in Johto. It was the first season of Pokémon where the episodes were digitally animated as opposed to cel animation, starting with the episode "Here's Lookin' at You, Elekid".
The fifth season of Pokémon overall aired originally in Japan from August 2001 to November 2002 on TV Tokyo and originally in the United States from September 2002 to October 2003 on the WB Television Network, however in March 2003 the season run on U.S. television was disrupted by a sneak peek preview of the following Advanced season featuring two episodes.
The Japanese opening songs are "Aim to be a Pokemon Master" by Whiteberry, and "Ready Go!" by Naomi Tamura. The ending songs are "Face Forward Team Rocket" by Team Rocket trio, and "Pocket-ering Monster-ing" by Kana. The English opening song is "Believe in Me" by David Rolfe.
The division between seasons of Pokémon is based on the English version openings of each episode, and may not reflect the actual production season. The English episode numbers are based on their first airing in the United States either in syndication, on The WB Television Network or on Cartoon Network. (Other English-speaking nations largely followed either this order or the Japanese order). Subsequent airings of the English version follow the original Japanese order, except in the case of episodes which are no longer shown in English.
