List of If Only I Could episodes

Mediacorp Channel 8's television series If Only I Could is a drama series produced by Mediacorp Studios in 2016, starring Rui En, Paige Chua, Andie Chen and Elvin Ng as the main characters in the series. Two women who suffer from equally unfortunate marital and familial lives decide to rewrite their fates by going back in time. In their new-old selves, they avoid making the same mistakes as they did previously, but unbeknownst to them, their attempts to change their lives kicked off a butterfly effect, unintentionally altering the fates and lives of their loved ones too.

The show aired on Mediacorp Channel 8 from 31 May 2016 and ran until 27 June 2016 with 20 episodes.

It turns out Zhenhao is having a bad dream. Degang buys breakfast for Xiwen. She tells him not to waste his time, as she is determined to break up with him. She asserts that he is not the one who can give her happiness. He is desolate. Degang submits a business proposal to Zhiyong. If he is able to boost the sales within six months, he wants to be allowed to date Xiwen. Zhiyong reemploys him on the basis of his professional capability. But as a father, he disapproves of his conduct and deems him unreliable. Degang is waiting for Xiwen in a heavy downpour. She is put off by his persistence and wants only to escape from him. Saddened she is like a changed person, he insists his feelings for her have remained constant and he will not give up. Kaiqin visits Degang, who has fallen ill. In a disoriented state, they get intimate. The next day, he apologises to her and asserts that he still loves Xiwen. Though Kaiqin feels hurt, she promises to pretend nothing ever happened. Zhenhao becomes paranoid about her health. She considers following the example of Angelina Jolie, and having her breasts removed to prevent cancer. Everyone opposes the idea. Zhenhao drops the plan eventually. Ivan confesses to Zhenzhu that he has a mistress, Xiaona. They have a one-year-old son. Zhenzhu is infuriated, but accepts Ivan supporting two families. Xiumei loses money on the stock market. Xiwen sees her through her financial crisis. Xiwen is put in a dilemma about her relationship with Degang. Zhenhao demands Xiaona should leave Ivan. In a rage, Ivan insists on a divorce. Zhenzhu refuses. Her depression acts up and she threatens to jump off the building.
