Linus Sandgren (born December 5, 1972 in , Sweden) is a Swedish cinematographer. He collaborated with Gus Van Sant on Promised Land where he shot the film in a unique format, Super 35mm 1.3x anamorphic. Sandgren is most known for his work with David O Russell on the films American Hustle and Joy. For his work on La La Land he received his first nomination for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography, ASC Award, and the BAFTA Award and won the Hollywood Film Award, the Critics Choice Award, and another 19 critics awards for his cinematography in Damien Chazelle's La La Land which he shot in the classic Cinemascope ratio 2.55:1.
