Linn Grove is a city in Buena Vista County, Iowa, United States. The population was 154 at the 2010 census. The nearby Chan-Ya-Ta Site contains the remains of a 1000-year-old prehistoric village, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

A post office called Linn Grove has been in operation since 1877. Linn Grove was named for a grove of linden trees near the town site.

Linn Grove is located at 42°53′33″N 95°14′31″W / 42.89250°N 95.24194°W / 42.89250; -95.24194 (42.892537, -95.241992). It is situated near the Little Sioux River.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.61 square miles (1.58 km2), of which, 0.58 square miles (1.50 km2) is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 km2) is water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 154 people, 81 households, and 42 families residing in the city. The population density was 265.5 inhabitants per square mile (102.5/km2). There were 93 housing units at an average density of 160.3 per square mile (61.9/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 96.8% White, 0.6% African American, and 2.6% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 8.4% of the population.
