Lincoln Township is a township in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,669 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 25.7 square miles (66.7 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,669 people, 642 households, and 489 families residing in the township. The population density was 64.8 people per square mile (25.0/km²). There were 676 housing units at an average density of 26.3/sq mi (10.1/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 99.40% White, 0.12% African American, 0.12% Asian, 0.24% from other races, and 0.12% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.30% of the population.
There were 642 households out of which 33.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.2% were married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.8% were non-families. 20.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.60 and the average family size was 2.99.
In the township the population was spread out with 24.8% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 29.2% from 25 to 44, 25.7% from 45 to 64, and 13.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 100.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.8 males.
