Limestone is a census-designated place (CDP) comprising the main village within the town of Limestone in Aroostook County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,075 at the 2010 census, out of a population of 2,314 for the entire town.
The Limestone CDP is located at 46°54′45″N 67°49′34″W / 46.91250°N 67.82611°W (46.91258, -67.826376), slightly east of the center of the town of Limestone. U.S. Route 1A runs north-south through the center of the CDP, intersecting Maine State Routes 229 and 89.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.6 square miles (6.8 km2), all land.
At the 2000 census, there were 1,453 people, 420 households and 272 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 557.0 per square mile (214.9/km²).
