Lestes viridulusemerald-striped spreadwing, is a damselfly species in the family Lestidae, the spreadwings. It is native to Bangladesh, India, and Thailand, where it is widespread. It likely occurs in Myanmar, as well.
It is commonly found among long dry grass during the dry seasons; the colour of which it simulates closely. It can be easily distinguished from all other Lestes species by its uniform pale brown colour combined with a pair of dorsal thoracic metallic green stripes of uniform width.
