Leggets Lake connects to Lake Oakland to the north.

Leggets Lake (originally Leggett's Lake) is named for Mortimer Leggett (b.1837-d.1930) who came from New York to Waterford and settled on a 140-acre farm next to the lake that would bear his family name.

Wormer Lake fish include Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Yellow Perch.
