Leamington Spa (Avenue) railway station

Leamington Spa Avenue railway station was a station serving the Warwickshire town of Leamington Spa. It was opened on 9 December 1844 by the London and Birmingham Railway. The station was built alongside the GWR's station to provide a more convenient station in Leamington than the LNWR's station at Milverton.

Leamington Spa Avenue provided passenger services towards Coventry, Rugby and Weedon via Daventry, but was closed in 1965 as a part of the Beeching cuts. The Coventry line was diverting into the former Great Western station and the branches towards Rugby lost their services. Little remains of the station today, the site of which is a car park.
