LeSEA Broadcasting (Lester Sumrall Evangelistic Association) is multifaceted American Christian organization. LeSEA Broadcasting operates television and radio stations in several U.S. cities, domestic and international cable and satellite networks reaching millions of homes, and one of the world’s largest shortwave radio networks.
Founded by the late Dr. Lester Sumrall in 1972, LeSEA is headquartered in South Bend, Indiana and broadcasts Christian programming, including an original program titled The Harvest Show. The late Pete Sumrall, son of Dr. Lester Sumrall, served as its president and chief executive officer until his passing in 2015. His son Drew Sumrall now occupies the same position.
The Harvest Show, a half-hour morning talk show which features interviews with pastors, authors, musicians, and ministry leaders, is hosted by Valerie Lowe, Stefan Radelich, Chuck Freeby, and Drew Sumrall. Brian Bush is the show’s Middle East Correspondent, delivering daily, up-to-the-minute news from Jerusalem. Also, Dr. Mark Lantz, Pastor of Christian Center Church, is featured on the show with short, relatable sermons.
In addition to its religious programming, LeSEA stations broadcast local high school athletics through their own production trucks, and also broadcast college football and basketball under deals with syndicators such as ESPN Plus and the ESPN Network, while South Bend station WHME-TV also airs a good amount of programming revolving around the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, not including live football games.
LeSEA operates one of the world's largest shortwave radio networks reaching the entire globe at any one time of day.
