Larbaâ Nath Irathen (Kabyle: Larebɛa n at Yiraten, or 
in Tifinagh, Arabic: الأربعاء ناث اراتين) is a town in Tizi Ouzou Province, in the middle of Kabylie, Algeria formerly known as Fort National. It had population of 28,000 in 2001. The area is renowned for its majestic scenery, and arguably their beauty (zin n larb3a).
La commune a été à la pointe du combat durant la guerre de libération nationale. Chaque village a eu son lot de martyrs mais ce qui distingue cette commune c'est qu'elle a donné plus de cinq dirigeants a l'organisation pionnière en quête de l'indépendance nationale, à savoir l'Etoile Nord Africaine. De fait parmi ces principaux responsables, il y a lieu de citer Radjef Belkacem, Messaoui Rabah, Imache Ali, Iffour Rabah et Si Djillani Mohand Said. Tous ces responsables sont originaires d'Ait Oumalou qui faisait partie de Larba Nath Irathen a l'epoque. Messaoui Rabah est d'ailleurs mort durant la deuxième guerre mondiale à Paris. It is also the place of birth of Abane Ramdane.
