Lake City is a town in Marshall County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 51 at the 2010 census. Fort Sisseton Historic State Park, whose fort is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located nearby.
Lake City was laid out in 1914, and so named for the many lakes in the area.
