Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala (lit. Kullfi Kumarr Musician) is an Indian musical television series, which is premiere on Star Plus and stream on Hotstar. It features Aakriti Sharma, Mohit Malik, Shruti Sharma and Anjali Anand in the lead roles. This show is produced by Gul Khan, Karishma Jain, Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot. It is a remake version of the Bengali language television series Potol Kumar Gaanwala, which was aired on Star Jalsha in 2015. The story follows the journey of a young singing prodigy Kullfi, who sets out to find her father, Sikandar Singh Gill.
The story is around Kullfi, her mother Nimrat and Kullfi's father Sikandar Singh Gill and his family consisting of wife Lovely and daughter Amyra. Kullfi has got the natural talent of singing, Also she is a brilliant singer and has gotted music in her blood, from her father, who is a renowned singer himself. On the other hand, Nimrat doesn't want Kullfi to sing for Sikandar has abandoned them. However, Nimrat's sister-in-law, Nihalo makes Kullfi sing to earn money through her. Nimrat keeps warning Kullfi to stop singing and even tries to keep Kullfi away from the music, however, Kullfi keeps getting pulled towards Music in every possible way. Kullfi is trying to get find about her father, which she gets no real answer from her mother or her maternal Uncle. Nihalo hates Kullfi and Nimrat. Nihalo insults and humiliates Nimrat and Kullfi on every possibility. Nihalo reduces cuts down on Nimrat and Kullfi's food. Moreover, Nihalo was instigated Kullfi to sung for a musical group to get some money in return. Kullfi is worried for her mother, because she was Cancer patient, and she asks help from Bhalla. Besides, Bhalla takes Kullfi to Pathankot for the concert of Sikandar and asks her to sing at the concert. Bhalla takes Kullfi to sing at a concert in Pathankot where Sikander is performing. Later, Sikander is on his way driving where a drunk man comes in between the road and Sikandar's break does not work. In the way to save the man he hits himself to a tree and gets hurt badly near the same hospital where Nimrat is admitted. Nimrit aslo finds Sikandar there and assumes that he came to take Kulfi along. Sikandar keeps asking people about Nimrit and tells that he wants to meet her. Nihalo comes there and learns that he is Sikandar. Nihalo thus tells him that she knows Nimrit. Sikandar tells Nihalo that he loves Nimrit while Nihalo lies to him saying that Nimrit got married. Sikandar gets heartbroken hearing this but feels happy that Nimrit is living a happy life. Nihalo misleads Sikander about Nimrat to keep them from meeting each other. Sikandar reaches Pathankot and Kullfi runs to see him. Kullfi gets excited and runs to meet Sikandar while Manveer stops her. Kullfi confronts Sikandar at the concert and gives him his locket. Kullfi smiles at Sikandar and he also feels connected to her. Kullfi hopes to meet Sikandar and get some help from him for her mother Nimrit.Sikandar comes out of the venue feeling dizzy and fans run behind him. Kullfi also runs behind him and holds his hand. Kullfi gets shocked to see his condition while she could not get his help. Nimrit gets worried thinking that Sikandar has took away Kulfi and thus she runs searching Kullfi everyone. Besides, Nimrit searches for Kullfi in the same road where Sikandar travels by. Sikandar wishes to see Nimrit once. Sikandar recalls the promise he made to Nimrit and feels bad. He wishes to meet Nimrit once. Suddenly Nimrit comes in front of the same car in which Sikandar is travelling. Sikandar and Nimrit look at each other. Nimrit recalls all her moments with Sikandar while he falls unconscious again. Nirmit finds everything blurred and she starts looking for Kulfi again. Nimrit asks the drivers about Kullfi while they assume her to be mad. She finds Sikandar inside and she says she knew he will come. Sikandar looks at Nimrit and feels that dreams are beautiful and falls asleep. The driver leaves and Nimrit assumes that Sikandar took Kulfi away and she runs behind the car. The man assumes her to be Sikandar's fan. Besides, Lovely who is also travelling by the same route starts driving the car. She was about to hit Sikandar's car while she hits Nimrit. Sikandar gets worried and he asks to stop the car immediately. Sikandar was about to leave to help her while Gurdas stops him.Meanwhile, Lovely who was driving the car drives so fast and she hits Nimrit. Nimrit falls to the ground and gets badly hurt. Sikandar finds that something is wrong and he asks to stop the car immediately. Meanwhile, Sikandar was about to help Nimrit while Gurdas stops him from meeting Nimrit saying someone else will surely help the person. Besides, Minty gets worried and Lovely does not help Nimrit. She leaves Nimrit at the same condition. Nimrit hopes that Sikandar will come while he gets in the car and Nimrit takes her last breath. Kullfi reaches the hospital and she shows the money to Sattu. Kullfi is very happy and Sittu could not tell her finding Kullfi's happiness. Kullfi reaches the place and find people surrounded by her mother. Kullfi is confused and assumes that Nimrit is asleep. Kullfi shows her the money and asks Nimrit to wake up. Bholi tells Kullfi that her mother is dead. Sattu tries to make an innocent Kullfi realise that Nimrat is dead. Later, Sikandar bursts on Lovely saying that she killed Nimrit. Lovely is shocked. She crosses her limits and she breaks the guitar in anger. Sikandar comes to stop her while she questions him about Nimrit. She asks Sikandar who is Nimrit and why was he taking her name. Then Sikandar told her that Nimrat is his first wife and he was leaved her seven years ago for Lovely's father conditions. Otherside, Kullfi is badly hurt and she keeps missing her mother. Sittu asks Kulfi to light her mother's pyre. Devastated by Nimrat's demise, Kullfi refuses to light her funeral pyre. Kullfi says she will not hurt her mother and she runs away leaving Sattu's hand. Sattu lights Nimrat's funeral pyre. After someday later, Nihalo crosses all her limits to make Kullfi sing while Kullfi disagrees as her mother never wanted her to sing. Nihalo takes Kullfi to police station to FIR report that Kullfi hits on her head and that makes her badly hurt, which was totaly false. Meanwhile, Sattu was decided to ran away from the police station with Kullfi.
