Kathryn-Leigh Beckwith (born February 25, 1993), better known by her stage name Kitty (sometimes stylized as ♡kitty♡; formerly Kitty Pryde), is an American hip hop recording artist from Daytona Beach, Florida. While serving as a member of Jokers in Trousers, a comedy hip hop group, she received recognition from fellow American rapper Riff Raff. The duo collaborated on a single, "Orion's Belt," in June 2012.
Kitty was a clerk at Claire's in Daytona Beach. She started college when she was 16 and signed up to attend classes at the University of Central Florida.
Kitty's song "Okay Cupid" became a viral hit and was ranked number 17 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the top 50 songs of 2012.
In 2015, she was chosen to perform as a headliner at Pacific Northwest music festival VanFest Five.
On May 25, 2016, Kitty married musician Sam Ray. In July 2016, the couple formed an EDM musical duo named 56colors. They release both original songs and remixes via SoundCloud.
After releasing several extended plays between 2011 and 2014, Kitty released her debut full-length album, Miami Garden Club, on August 25, 2017.
