Kilkenny is a city in Le Sueur County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 134 at the 2010 census.
It was named after the town and county of Kilkenny in Ireland.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.14 square miles (0.36 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 134 people, 53 households, and 38 families residing in the city. The population density was 957.1 inhabitants per square mile (369.5/km2). There were 63 housing units at an average density of 450.0 per square mile (173.7/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 99.3% White and 0.7% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.7% of the population.
There were 53 households of which 41.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.8% were married couples living together, 9.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 9.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 28.3% were non-families. 26.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
