Kia Ora is a locality in the Gympie Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2011 census, Kia Ora had a population of 501 people.
Kia-Ora Provisional School opened on 18 July 1921. It became a state school in 1927. It is located at 2754 Anderleigh Rd (26°01′41″S 152°46′36″E / 26.02817°S 152.77676°E).
The Kia Ora Memorial Hall was erected to honour those who served in war. It is located on the corner of Johnson and Anderleigh Roads (26°01′38″S 152°46′39″E / 26.027132°S 152.777397°E).
In 1931, the main industries were dairying and forestry.
