Khagendra Thapa Magar (Nepali: खगेन्द्र थापामगर) (born 4 October 1992), son of Mr. Rup Bahadur Thapa Magar and Mrs. Dhana Maya Thapa Magar, was the shortest man in the world, measuring 0.67 m (2 ft 2 in). Formerly the shortest teenager in the world, Magar took the title of shortest man from Edward Niño Hernández when he turned 18 on 14 October 2010. Magar is a primordial dwarf. He lost the title of "World's Shortest Man" on 13 June 2011, to Junrey Balawing of the Philippines.
Born on 18 Asoj in the Nepali calendar, or 4 October 1992, He is from the Baglung District of Nepal and is dubbed as a "little Buddha" by the villagers. Just 600 grams (21 oz) at birth, he weighs 5.5 kilograms (12 lb; 0.87 st).
In May 2008, Khagendra appeared in the British Channel 4 documentary called The World's Smallest Man and Me hosted by Mark Dolan.
