The Khabour Guards (Syriac: ܡܘܬܒܐ ܕܢܛܘܪ̈ܐ ܕܚܒܘܪ‎, translit. Mawtḇā d-Nāṭorē d-Ḥābor; Arabic: مجلس حرس الخابور الآشوري‎‎) is an Assyrian Syrian militia created after the collapse of Syrian government control in the Assyrian-majority Khabur Valley northwest of Hasaka. The militia is composed of hundreds of local Assyrians and maintains checkpoints in several villages, most notably Tel Tamer. Though officially neutral and nonpartisan, the Khabour Guards are de facto affiliated with the Assyrian Democratic Party along with Nattoreh.

The Khabour Guards were initially overrun by Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) during the jihadists' assault in early 2015. Together with the Syriac Military Council (MFS) and People's Protection Units (YPG), they managed to slow the advance of ISIL.

Some members of the Khabour Guards are closely allied with the Syriac Military Council (MFS). These members wear the MFS insignia on their uniforms and are supplied by the MFS.

On 25 February 2017, the Assyrian Democratic Party agreed to join the Syrian Democratic Council, and the YPG agreed to hand over security in the Assyrian towns along the Khabur River to the Khabour Guards and Nattoreh which joined the Syrian Democratic Forces. On 13 April, PYD forces officially handed over the Khabur valley's villages to the Khabour Guards and Nattoreh, though the YPG kept a military base near Tell Tamer.
