Kentucky Route 244 (KY 244) is a 3.76-mile-long (6.05 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The highway connects Russell, Worthington, and Raceland in Greenup County.
KY 244 begins at a four-way intersection with U.S. Route 23 (US 23) and the new Ironton-Russell Bridge over the Ohio River in Russell. It travels to the north-northwest, crosses over CSX owned railroad tracks and curves to the northwest. There, it enters the main part of Russell, where it intersects the eastern terminus of KY 2543 (Ferry Street). It curves to the north-northeast and then back to the northwest. There, it starts paralleling the Ohio River. The highway enters Worthington. There, it passes the Worthington City Park before curving to the southwest. It curves to the south-southwest, enters Raceland, and passes through multiple railroad underpasses carrying CSX owned railroad tracks. The highway curves to the southeast and then back to the south-southwest. It crosses over Pond Run just before it intersects KY 3105 (Greenup Avenue). Two blocks later, it meets its northern terminus, a second intersection with US 23. Here, the roadway continues as KY 750 (Pond Run Road).
