Kathleen H. Meehan (born c. 1955) is the current Republican mayor of Melbourne, Florida. She is the first female mayor of Melbourne. She is employed as a Sales Representative with Meehan’s Office Products and has also worked as a Case Manager with Community Care for the Elderly.
She is the daughter of Merril Harding Lunn and his wife Joyce. She became a naturalized American citizen in 1967. She moved to Melbourne in 1979.
Prior to her terms on the City Council, Meehan had been a member of the Melbourne Planning and Zoning Board.
Meehan served two terms as the council member from District 3, and served as vice mayor of Melbourne in 2007 and 2010.
Meehan was President of the Board of Directors of the Space Coast League of Cities for the 2009-2010 term.
