Katherine Emmons Force (March 12, 1891 – September 8, 1956) was an American real estate investor and socialite. She was a member of the zoning board for Newport, Rhode Island.
Katherine Emmons Force was born on March 12, 1891 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the elder daughter of William Hurlbut Force and Katherine Arvilla Talmage. Her sister Madeleine (1893–1940) was the widow of Colonel John Jacob Astor IV (1864–1912) of the Astor family.
Force married Lorillard Suydam Spencer on December 6, 1922. Together they had two sons, Stephen Wolcott Spencer (April 22, 1925 – July 21, 2010) and William Hurlbut Force Spencer (June 13, 1927-October 3, 2013).
She died on September 8, 1956 of a heart attack at her cottage, Chasteullux, in Newport, Rhode Island.
