Kasamh Se (English: The Promise) is an Indian soap opera produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms which aired on Zee TV from 16 January 2006 through 12 March 2009 on Monday through Friday. The story dealt with the trials and tribulations of three sisters Bani, Piya and Rano.

The story revolves around the three Dixit sisters Bani (Prachi Desai/ Gurdeep Kohli), Piya (Roshni Chopra) and Rano (Arunima Sharma/ Pallavi Purohit) who live in Mount Abu with their widower father, Nishikant Dixit. After their father's death, as per his last wish, the three sisters move to Mumbai to live with the wealthy acquaintance of their father, Jai Walia (Ram Kapoor), who is a middle aged man. From hereon, the destinies of the four people take them through unexpected turns and circumstances where the relationship among the three sisters and the promise they made of supporting one another through every thick and thin is tested. Bani gets married to Jai, Pia gets married to Jai's employee Pushkar Shukla, Rano gets married to Jai's nephew Sahil Bali (son of Jai's sister Jigyasa and Jai's friend Aditya Bali) and their dramatic lives move with their families. Actually,Kasamh Se is the story of three very different sisters. Bani is the oldest, mature and responsible. Pia is the middle child, modern and glamorous. Rano is the youngest, studious and intelligent. After their father's death, the sisters go to Mumbai to live with the family of wealthy business tycoon, Jai Walia (Ram Kapoor). Bani falls in love with Jai's employee, Pushkar (Naman Shaw). But Pushkar and Pia love each other, so Bani sacrifices her love for the sake of her sister. Jai falls in love with Pia and proposes to her. She agrees to marry him for his wealth. However, moments before the wedding, Pia elopes with Pushkar. Jai's domineering sister Jigyasa doesn't want the Walia family to be humiliated, so, she forces Bani to take Pia's place as bride. Actually she hates Bani, Pia Rano.Jigyasa's ex-husband Aditya supports Bani. Jai ends up marrying Bani, and though their relationship gets off to a rocky start, with time, they become friends.Bani gets Pia and Pushkar married.Jigyasa's unmarried daughter, Anu, has a boyfriend named Rohit and she is expecting his child. Rohit's father has a condition: his son will marry Anu only if Jigyasa's younger son Sahil marries Rohit's older sister Rashi. The Walia family accepts this proposal, but Sahil and Rano are in love; the two elope. Sahil's older brother Ranbir then agrees to marry Rashi. Bani and Jai finally fall in love and consummate their relationship.
