Karnataka Pragnyavanta Janata Paksha (KPJP) is an Indian political party based in Karnataka, announced 12 August 2017 under the 'Prajakeeya' campaign and officially launched on 31 October 2017 by veteran Kannada actor Upendra Rao. The campaign and the party believes in skill-driven leadership and politics with people being the center. The official symbol of the party was announced to be 'auto-rickshaw' on 9 December 2017. The party would contest in the upcoming elections for the Karnataka Legistaltive Assembly in 2018 and has announced to release it's manifesto by the end of January 2018.
