Karluk (Kal’uq or Kal’ut in Alutiiq) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska, United States. The population was 37 at the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 57.9 square miles (149.9 km2), of which 55.4 square miles (143.6 km2) is land and 2.4 square miles (6.3 km2), or 4.20%, is water. Karluk is 88 miles (142 km) southwest of Kodiak City. The elevation is 137 feet (42 m).

As of the census of 2000, there were 27 people, 9 households, and 7 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 0.5 people per square mile (0.2/km²). There were 24 housing units at an average density of 0.4/sq mi (0.2/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 0.00% White, 96.30% Native American and 3.70% Asian.

There were 9 households out of which 44.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 33.3% were married couples living together, 33.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.2% were non-families. 22.2% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.00 and the average family size was 3.43.

In the CDP, the population was spread out with 37.0% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 33.3% from 25 to 44, 14.8% from 45 to 64, and 7.4% who were 65 years of age or older.
