Kaluga State University (KSU) is a university in Kaluga, Russia. The university was founded in 1948. Before 2010 it was Kaluga State Pedagogical University. It's named after Tsiolkovsky. The university consists of 6 institutes (The Institute of Natural Sciences; The Institute of History and Law; The Institute of Pedagogics; The Institute of Psychology; The Institute of Social Relationships; The Institute of Physics and Technologies), 2 faculties (Faculty of Foreign Languages; Philological Faculty), and The Institute of Pre-University Traininng, The Institute of Additional Professional Training.

There are 3 museums in the university: The Museum of KSU's history; The Museum-study of Alexander Chizhevsky; The Museum of the Natural Sciences' Institute.

The University publishes scientific quarterly "The Kaluga University Bulletin" (Russian: Вестник Калужского университета).

The rector of the university is Maxim Kazak.
