Kaljani River


Kaljani River (Bengali: কালজানী) is originated in Bhutan on the foothills of the Himalayas and it goes to north to south via Bhutan, India, and Bangladesh and merges with Bay of Bengal. The river's coordinates are 26°30'46"N & 89°27'31"E. One of the main attraction of the Dooars Wild Life sanctuary.[] The major portion of the river flows through the Indian state West Bengal.

Buxa Fort, Pokhri,Khairbari, Jaldapara National Park, Alipurduar, Tufanganj, Agomoni Gauripur are a few major places on the bank of this river[] and many more small places is being touched by this river. []
