KWIZ is a commercial radio station located in Santa Ana, California, broadcasting to the Los Angeles-Orange County area on 96.7 FM. KWIZ airs a Regional Mexican music format branded as "La Ranchera 96.7 FM". In the early days, Spider McLaine, Karen Sharpe, John Novak and James Gomez hosted radio shows. The station switched to Spanish language in 1998, about 50 years after KWIZ began operating.

KWIZ used to be a radio station in Santa Ana, California, on 1480 kHz, with a sister FM station, KWIZ-FM/96.7. KWIZ operated with 5,000 directional watts day and night. KWIZ-FM was a "class A" FM station operating from Orange, California with 3 kW. Before switching to an ethnic Asian format, KWIZ-FM was a leased-time station that rented airtime to organizations and individuals interested in broadcasting their own programming. In addition to many religious and ethnic talk programs, KWIZ-FM also was home to several niche format music programs, including reggae, alternative, and surf rock. At night, the station's time was leased to Renegade Radio, a dance music/techno format hosted by DJ Racer and former rave station MARS-FM 103.1 DJ Mike "Fright" Ivankay. Renegade Radio also broadcast MARS-FM music director Swedish Egil's syndicated Groove Radio program, which later became a full-time local electronica format at 103.1 KACD/KBCD (now Indie 103.1). KWIZ was previously KVOE (Voice of the Orange Empire).

KWIZ is not licensed by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission to broadcast in the HD (hybrid) format, although the HD Radio Guide indicates that it broadcasts one HD channel.
