Edward "Junior" Hanley (born September 9, 1944) is a Canadian driver and race car builder. Born in Nova Scotia Canada, he migrated to Ontario in the early-1970s at the suggestion of his Friend/Rival Don Biederman (also from Nova Scotia)

He is widely regarded by his racing peers to be the best Canadian short track racer of his time, and in general is at the top of most peoples list in hailed short track racers in North America.

An expert racer, chassis builder and setup man, Junior has made a living from racing and building cars since the mid seventies.

He has built race cars for drivers such as Bill Elliott, Dale Earnhardt, Alan Kulwicki, Mark Martin, Kyle Petty, Dick Trickle and Darrell Waltrip.

Hanley won the 1991, 1992, and 1993 American Canadian Tour (ACT) Championships.

He was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2000, and the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2011.
