Ju Jingyi (simplified Chinese: 鞠婧祎; traditional Chinese: 鞠婧禕; pinyin: Jū Jìngyī; born June 18, 1994 in Suining, Sichuan, China) is a Chinese idol singer and a member of Chinese idol girl group SNH48. She is a co-founder member of SNH48's Team NII.
In the General Elections of SNH48, she was elected as No.4 (2014), No.2 (2015) and No.1 (2016) among over 100 members.
Ju studied at The Attached Middle School of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, but dropped out to audition for SNH48.
On August 18, 2013, Ju Jingyi took part in the audition for second-generation members of SNH48, and was one of the 34 girls who qualified, becoming one of the 31 official second-generation members on September 5. She starred in her first variety show on September 21, and had started performing weekly at the SNH48 Dream Stage. On November 11, she became a member of Team NII of SNH48. She participated in SNH48's first major concert, "SNH48 Guangzhou Concert", held in the Guangzhou International Sports Arena on November 16.
On January 18, 2014, Ju was part of the "SNH48 1st Kouhaku Uta Gassen", where she performed the Chinese version of "Yokaze no Shiwaza". In May 2014, she starred in her first music video, "Football Party". On June 15, she appeared in Tonight 80's Talk Show. On July 26, she was ranked 4th during SNH48's first "General Election", during which they released their first album, "Mae Shika Mukanee". On September 2014, Ju, along with the top 16 members, went to South Korea to film the music video for "UZA".
On January 15, 2015, SNH48 released their sixth EP, "Give Me Five!", of which Ju participated in. In the same month, she was featured in Weekly Playboy. On January 31, she performed "Yokaze no Shiwaza" on SNH48 Request Hour Setlist Best 30 2015. In February, she was among 48 members who participated Jiangsu Television's Chinese New Year Festival. On March 17, she went to Saipan to film the music video for "Manatsu no Sounds Good!". On July 25, Ju was ranked second in SNH48's second "General Election", subsequently becoming a member of sub-unit Seine River along with Zhao Jiamin and Li Yitong. Their first single "Sweet & Bitter" (苦与甜) was released on 31 October 2015. On the same day as this release, she made her second appearance in Tonight 80's Talk Show. On November 6, she appeared in variety show Run for Time. She appeared in SNH48 Request Hour Setlist Best 30 2015 (2nd Edition) on December 26, and Dragon Television New Year's Eve Concert on December 31.
