José Martínez Azcuis (July 26, 1942 – October 1, 2014) was a Major League Baseball infielder. He played all of 1969 and part of 1970 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, primarily as a second baseman. He later served as a minor league manager and major league coach for the Kansas City Royals, from 1980-1988. Martinez then coached with the Chicago Cubs from 1988-1994. He joined the Atlanta Braves front office as a special assistant in 1995, and worked for them until his death on October 1, 2014.
