The Joint Committee on the Palace of Westminster is a Joint Select Committee appointed to assess the options contained within an independent assessment report on a proposed major restoration and renewal of the Palace of Westminster and "make recommendations on a preferred way forward".
The Joint Committee was appointed by the House of Commons on 16 July 2015 and by the House of Lords on 20 July 2015. The Committee has twelve members (six from each House).
