Johnstown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fremont County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 242 at the 2010 census.
Johnstown is located at 43°7′43″N 108°41′25″W / 43.12861°N 108.69028°W (43.128719, -108.690339).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 32.1 square miles (83.2 km²), of which, 31.5 square miles (81.5 km²) of it is land and 0.7 square miles (1.8 km²) of it (2.12%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 236 people, 83 households, and 60 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 7.5 people per square mile (2.9/km²). There were 100 housing units at an average density of 3.2/sq mi (1.2/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 43.64% White, 53.39% Native American, and 2.97% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 8.05% of the population.
There were 83 households out of which 28.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.6% were married couples living together, 12.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.7% were non-families. 21.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.84 and the average family size was 3.28.
