John Marshall Middle School is a middle school in Indianapolis, Indiana that serves grades 7–8. It is part of Indianapolis Public Schools.
Built in 1968 to accommodate rapid growth in the far east side of Indianapolis, John Marshall High School closed eighteen years later in 1986 due to declining enrollment. The facility reopened as a middle school in 1993, and in 2008 was converted to John Marshall Community High School. Starting in 2017, the school was converted into a middle school serving only grades 7–8. Existing grade 9-12 students were moved to Arlington High School, which was itself slated to transform into a middle school starting in 2018.
