John Hickey (1756–1795) was an Irish sculptor.
Born in Dublin, Hickey was the son of Noah, a confectioner in Capel Street, and Anne Hickey. An older brother was Thomas Hickey, the painter. He worked under a local carver before coming to England in 1776 and entering the Royal Academy Schools. Edmund Burke was enthusiastic in promoting his work.
Among Hickey's best-known works is the monument to David La Touche in Delgany, County Wicklow.
