João Emir Porto Pereira (Chinese: 利馬; born 17 March 1989 in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil), is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays for Hong Kong Premier League club HK Pegasus.
João Emir primarily plays as an central midfielder, but he also plays as an attacking midfielder.
On 29 December 2011, South China announced that João Emir, alongside Dhiego Martins and Yeo Jee-Hoon, had joined the club. He made his debut for South China on 4 February 2012 at Mong Kok Stadium, helping help the team secure a 4–2 win over Sunray Cave JC Sun Hei.
On 23 March 2012, chairman Steven Lo confirmed that João Emir was ruled out for the season due to torn ligament.
On 10 July 2012, chairman Steven Lo confirmed the departure of João Emirc due to contract problem with his previous club.
On 31 May 2013, João Emir rejoined Hong Kong First Division League side South China.
