He is best known for keyboard work in the 1970s and 1980s, playing regularly with Cat Stevens (e.g. "Peace Train", 1971), a brief session with The Police (e.g. "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic", 1981) and performing a variety of roles with dozens of others (e.g. Paul Kossoff, Elkie Brooks, Dusty Springfield, Celine Dion, Suzi Quatro, Donovan, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Joan Armatrading, etc.).
