Jean-Michel Faure is a traditionalist Catholic bishop.
In 1941, he was born to French pieds-noirs parents in Algiers.
October 1972: joins the SSPX Seminary at Ecône (Switzerland)
June 1977: ordained a priest by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre
1977: appointed at the head of the SSPX district for Southern America.
1980: appointed at the director of the SSPX Seminary in La Reja (Argentina).
1985: appointed at the head of the Mexican district.
2013: leaves the SSPX over the dispute of a possible agreement with Rome and joins the SSPX Resistance.
March 19, 2015: consecrated a bishop by Bishop Richard Williamson. The SSPX condemn his consecration.
March 19, 2016: co-consecrator of Bishop Miguel Ferreira da Costa, aka Fr Thomas Aquinas.
