Jafrabad is a city and a tehsil in Jalna subdivision of Jalna district in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Jafrabad, is a small city residing at over the bank of Purna River,with an Eye soothing Natural surrounding & High yielding Farmlands. It is also well known for its Quilla (Fort) used for Residence of Jahagirdar ( Officer appointed for Taxation at Root Level By King) at times of King Rules.

Jafrabad is also well known for the Fight between Marathas & British at Asai in 1803, where the small monument carving the names of British Officer Colonel Stevenson fell during War. It was the Metal (Panch dhatu) Foil attached over Stone (Been stolen recently). Which is being visited every Year by British tourists to recall their ancestors.

Jafrabad is a nagar panchayat in the Panchayat Raj system of governance. It possesses government offices as Panchayat Samiti, Tehsil, Krishi Department, Block Education Office (BEO), Integrated Child Development Service Scheme (ICDS) office, Live-Stock Development (LDO) Extension Office, MSEB Department, PWD Department, Taluka Health Office, Bhoomi Abhilekh Department for better governance.
