Jackie Cahill (born 5 September 1957) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician and a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Tipperary constituency, upon being elected at the 2016 general election.
He had been a member of Tipperary County Council from 2014 to 2016. He is the former president of the ICMSA, a national farmers' union.
He was selected in May 2015 by Fianna Fáil members to contest the upcoming Irish General Election, defeating 4 other contenders, including Michael Smith, the son of former Defence Minister Mick Smith. Deputy Cahill was also praised for his social media campaign, awarded one of the best in the country.
