Ivan Olita (born 24 November 1987) is an Italian-born film director currently based in Los Angeles, California. He is also the founder and creative director of New York based production company BRAVÒ.
Born in Verona from an Italian dad and a Russian mom. Ivan began his career working as a model in 2006 at the age 15 years. In 2010, he graduated with honors at Brera Academy in Milan. During his career as a model, he worked for fashion houses such as Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce e Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferre, Gucci and Gianni Versace and appeared in magazines such as Vogue and Rolling Stone.
In 2007, he started working in Italian television hosting a daily show on All Music together with Valeria Bilello. In 2009 he co-hosted one night of Italy’s most viewed TV-event, Festival di Sanremo alongside Paolo Bonolis. From 2011 to 2013 he hosted Top Of The Pops on Raidue. In January 2015, he briefly returned to Italian TV to host Forte Forte Forte alongside Italian showgirl Raffaella Carra. During his TV career, he interviewed multiple music stars ranging from Katy Perry to Ben Harper and the Depeche Mode.
Olita was given an online column on Italian Rolling Stone in 2010. In the following years, he continued to collaborate in writing, photography and film content with many Italian and international magazines such as Vogue,Vanity Fair,Wired,GQ,Visionnaire,Purple,V Magazine and W. He collaborated and interviewed artists such as Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus and fashion icons such as Karl Lagerfeld. In 2014, he entered the board of contributors at LVMH owned content platform Nowness.
