Istočna Ilidža (Serbian Cyrillic: Источна Илиџа) is a municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Istočna Ilidža is one of the six municipalities of the City of East Sarajevo (Serbian Cyrillic: Град Источно Сарајево). It was also known as Srpska Ilidža (Српска Илиџа), as well as Kasindo (Касиндо) and was created from part of the pre-war municipality of Ilidža (the other part of the pre-war municipality is now in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina). There have been some proposals for the municipality to be merged with that of Istočno Novo Sarajevo.
According to the census of 2013, the population stands at 15,233
The local football club is FK Famos that competes in the First League of the Republika Srpska.
