The Institute of Public Administration Australia (abbreviated to IPAA) is an Australian voluntary non-profit membership-based professional association for those involved in public administration.
The IPAA states their aims are to:
The IPAA publish a quarterly journal called the Australian Journal of Public Administration and a national magazine for its 4,000 members, called Public Administration Today. In addition, the Institute runs annual awards for the Australian public sector called the IPAA National Awards and the CAPAM International Innovations Awards.
The Institute was founded in 1927 as the Royal Institute of Public Administration Australia.
